Insulating Glass Insulating glass refers to two pieces of glass spaced apart and hermetically sealed to form a single glazed unit with an air space between. Heat transmission through this type of glass may be as low as half the without such an air space. It is also called Double Glazing.

Interchange Two or more parts with different NAGS numbers which are used for the same fit application.

Interlayer A layer of standard or polycarbonate-compatible polyvinyl butyl or of urethane, used to bind two or more pieces of glass or glass and polycarbonate sheets onto a laminated unit.
